History in the making began in 1937 when Joseph Philémon Grimard along with his son, René Grimard, opened a modest shop on De Gaspé street and began a life-long career in the making, repairing, selling and renting of suitcases.

Business was brisk and J.P. Grimard Inc. re-located moved to more spacious surroundings to accommodate his ever growing cliental. In 1982, the torch was passed down to the founder's grandson, Louis-René Grimard, who is accredited for expanding the company.

Today, it's the Fourth generation who has stepped up to the challenge of ensuring that family values and tradition remain intact.

Since 1937, J.P. Grimard Inc.'s family business has been a part of the community and has established an unprecedented reputation thanks to its dedicated staff, some of which have been there for over forty years.
